Our wedding is in 30 days. I can’t believe it is coming up so soon! But my focus isn’t on wedding details, I’ve been more caught up with what’s going on at work. I think it’s time I started focusing on me.
Why do you want to set new goals?
Lately with the pressing deadlines and stresses coming from work, I’ve been a little bent out of whack and not taking care of myself. I’m heading into work earlier, leaving later, and still feel like I’m not really crossing off too many items on my to-do lists. Each longer day I put in at the office, the more I feel that I am losing myself. I’m not taking care of myself at all, I’m not eating healthy, I’m not communicating well with my family, I feel like I’m completely disconnected from everything!
What are you going to do?
I need to start getting back in sync with myself. How am I going to do it? I’m going to set goals for myself for the next 30 days. These will be things that will help me feel good on the inside and out.
Here are the things I am hoping to accomplish:
1- Drink at least 60 oz of water every day
2- Exercise once a day
3- Eat half a plate of vegetables at dinner
4- Do one thing a week to bring myself joy
5- Try something new
6- Read 3 fiction books
I am hoping to keep myself in better spirits. Keep the stress at bay so I can get back into the swing of things. I’ll give you all an update next week on how things are going with my goals for the next 30 days. These should all be things that help to bring me some peace before the wedding. I feel like being relaxed right now is exactly what I need.
